Image for BCOF members to put in their blogs " Prompt: “Wear gratitude like a cloak and it will feed every corner of your life.” – Rumi
Let this saying inspire your blog entry. "

We just finished a course in Sunday School called "Gratitude Rocks".

The object of the course is that gratitude in much more than an attitude. It is a way of life. Gratitude is an action word and if we are truly living a life of gratitude it will show in our behaviors. It is one thing to have a grateful attitude and quite another to live one's life as if you are grateful. Grateful people don't complain about what they have. They don't kill themselves to have more. Instead they accept what they have as if it is made of gold.

{image:1971183:25%} Prompt: "Use these words in your entry today: lyrical, elemental, brewing, power, ostracized, and bones."

As anybody who follows my blog knows I am a Christian. There are times I have been ostracizedfor my beliefs but I am perfectly fine with that. I live in a country where persecution for being as Christian is rare unless one wants to call being talked about and put down for my beliefs persecution. I know however that the power in my life comes from the Holy Spirit who lives within me. I consider it elemental when somebody tries to make my life miserable over my beliefs. That is rare for me but there is usually some other country where persecution is always brewing. In Rome the bones of a lot of Christians who were persecuted can be found. It is almost lyrical though because the more Christians are persecuted the more our faith grows.
