The 30 Day Blogging Challenge prompt for 1-18-17 is "What are some things you would put in a time capsule to be opened up one, twenty, and/or fifty years from now that shows the person you are today?"

Well for one thing, I doubt that I'll even be around in 20 years and I know i won't be in 50 so it really wouldn't matter. However i believe my time capsules have already been created and planted. They are the books i published, particularly the first two, which contained inspirational poetry that highlighted my thinking. Anybody who read the poetry I wrote in them knows it was much more than poetry to me. It was a description of the way I lived and of my worldview. I had a small magazine once called Mid-Ohio Valley poetry. The slogan of our company was "Where poetry is more than art...it's a way of life."

To give you an example of why I say my books are my time capsule I'm going to recite one of the poems from the first one:

Face our Destiny

When all our skies are cloudy
And all our clouds are gray
Let us always remember
That God will provide a way.

In the midst of the chaos
There is a purpose for everything
When we can find no answers
Maybe we should stop questioning.

Our lives are spread before us
The path that we must take
When we learn to face our path
Then progress we will make.

That isn't an exact word for word copy of it, but it's very close. I don't have a copy here having left everything at my former home for personal and health reasons. However the book and the second book, which was similar obviously contained the philosophy by, which I lived and still live.
