Each snowflake, like each human being is unique. |
5 Kamal 163 B.E. - August 5, 2006 Do we really know in what day we are living? Look around at everything going on in the world. Most people would say we're living in the last day. That the world is on the "verge of destruction". That isn't how I feel, humanity and the world is in the process of transformation. Moving from one evolutionary stage to another. There are two forces at work in the world today, one is is destructive and the other is constructive. We see only the destruction of everything that works toward the disunity of the human races. The constructive force is not obvious at this point, but it is there and it will emerge from the smoke and dust of the destruction. We're not living at the end of an age, but at the beginning. The human race is growing up, becoming mature. All that is going on around us in the world is meant to bring us together, even if at first it doesn't appear that way. There are powers in the world that are afraid of the forces of construction. They are afraid because the walls that separated the human race are crumbling and knowledge is spreading across the planet. We're living in a new age and we have a choice, an opportunity that our descends won't have. We can choose to work for the unity of the human race or we can choose to oppose that unity. Our descends well have a world where peace and mutual respect is common place. Where no one looks down on anther because of skin color, religion, national origin, wealth, poverty, or anything else. Our descendants will have everything we hope for, but they won't have the choice to work for that peace. Today we have that choice, all we have to do is make the decision and go forward no matter what the obstacles that hate and fear place in our paths. We are living in a great day, because we have the choice to put aside the past and to forgive. It doesn't mean we have to forget what has happened to us, we can't forget because that leaves room for repetition of past mistakes. We can forgive, we can suture the wounds in our souls so that we can heal. We can move forward in the path of unity, we can look for the common links that make humanity a single species. We can question our own beliefs and we can change them, we don't have to imprison in concepts that worked in an earlier historic period. So let's look for the things that make the present great. Let's look for the common links that bind humanity together as a single species. Let's look for the love, the golden rule common to all religions. When we meet another lets consult on those common links rather than talking about what makes us difference. If we look at the differences we will find only loneliness and separation. If we look at the differences we will become dinosaurs on the road to extinction. |
