Take UP Your Cross Blog Prompt: Describe a season of life where you experienced significant spiritual growth. What were the catalysts for this growth? Hmmm! I think I may have accidentally repeated a prompt. LOL OOPS! Prayer prompt: Ask God to protect innocent people in war torn regions around the world. Dear Heavenly Father, Please protect innocent people in the war-torn regions around the world. Provide their needs and watch over them. In Jesus' name, Amen The captain called today. There was a report of white ballons being released from a cemetery. I went to the port of Ẃeβ࿚Ẃỉtcĥ and found this item.
Read, review and write about this in your blog today. What do you think about balloons being released in the air sending messages to deceased loved ones? I believe they are saying releasing balloons into the air is bad for environment. This is a well put together item. It is a good read. It is about a very sad occasion.
“Spring makes its own statement, so loud and clear that a gardener seems to be only one of his instruments, not the composer.” ― Geoffrey Charlesworth What's your favorite part of spring? The colors when the different flowers bloom is my favorite part of spring and the warmer weather. Have fun with these words: lesson, snarl, guitar, draft, length, rifle, acquaintance, funny and shift. I can almost get the picture of a western story playing out with this. This could be comical or serious depending on how you use the words. Let me see... Young Billy was walking to his guitar lesson when he ran into a previous acquaintance. It was this older boy named Oscar from a town he and his mother used to live. This boy was always getting into trouble, but Billy didn't want to be rude. He didn't want to stick around either. He knew he needed to get on his own business. Oscar said, "Hi ya, Billy! I hadn't seen you in a while. Where you been?" Billy answered, "Hi, Oscar, I don't really have time to talk, but I live in this town now." He kept walking. Oscar grabbed his shoulder. "I won't keep you long. I haven't seen you in it seems forever. I thought we were friends." Billy looked up at him, "I'm not trying to be rude, but if I don't get to my lesson, my mom is going to kill me. She paid good money for it." "What? You learnin' to play the guitar?" Oscar inquired. "I never figured you to be the musical type!" Billy was beginning to feel annoyed. He didn't want to get into trouble and trouble seemed to find Oscar. "Yes, I'm learning to play the guitar. Mom thought it would be good for me and besides, I like to play it for her." They walked by a man who was painting an animal hide. The dog as the man's side began to snarl at the boys. The dog bumped the bucket of paint, and it began to shift. Then the paint poured out all over the dog. The boys thought that was funny and began to laugh. When the sheriff showed up with his rifle in hand, the boys stopped laughing because of the shear length of it. That is when Billy felt the draft of air before the man slapped him with the back of his hand because he thought the boys had turned over the paint. As Billy fell to the ground, he knew he was in trouble. How was he going to explain this to his mom. Just then the guitar teacher stepped out the door of his music store and had watched the whole exchange. He paid the man for the bucket of paint, and they all worked together to clean the dog. Then he finally got a short guitar lesson before he went home. ![]() ![]() |
