Helmet for Life's Blows
Helmet for Life's Blows

Life, that fickle, twisted maze,
A whirlwind of perplexing days.
Joy and sorrow interlace,
Challenges delivered at a relentless pace.

Some days, the sun gleams bright and bold,
A fleeting warmth as stories unfold.
But then the clouds descend so fast,
Storms of doubt and troubles cast.

The path grows rough, the burdens weigh,
A sense of sinking leads the way.
Each stumble feels like cruel defeat,
And weariness consumes your feet.

That's when the whispers start to sting,
The world's harsh tune, a bitter thing:
"Life sucks," they say with knowing sneer,
A crushing weight upon your ear.

But hold your ground, a flicker bright,
Don't let those words steal all your light.
"Get a helmet," let them cry,
And in defiance, you reply:

Yes, life sends blows both harsh and swift,
Unforeseen trials, a bitter gift.
Yet with a helmet, firm and strong,
You forge ahead where you belong.

Not one of steel to shield the face,
But forged of spirit, strength, and grace.
Resilience woven in each thread,
Protecting heart as well as head.

Humor gleams upon its crest,
Disarming blows with playful jest.
And woven tight with threads so fine,
Are lessons learned along the line.

For every fall, a rise more bold,
With wisdom gleaned, stories to be told.
Each battle faced with fearless might,
Transmutes the darkness into light.

So let the world mock and deride,
Your helmet gleams with inner pride.
Life may throw punches, hard and fast,
But with your spirit built to last,

You'll weather storms with steady stride,
And in the struggle, you'll confide:
Life has its thorns, that much is true,
But I've got my helmet, and I'll see it through.
