Fivepence for One, Twopence for Two W/C = 169 . "Fivepence for One, Twopence for Two" – What item would you be willing to pay full price for instead of getting the 'deal/sale' price? And why is that item so important to you? Only In My Dreams   Hamburgar bun with sesame seeds, mayo, mustard, ketchup, two flamed broiled patties, tomatoes, onion, lettuce, cheese and pickles. What I wouldn't give for a bite!  I can still remember the taste of the last one I had over a year ago, and I would pay the total price—but right now? This minute with my stomach singing the blues? I'd pay triple. Not being able to eat regular, as is food, because of cancer, I am stuck with some pureed foods and formula through my G-tube. I have been lucky, though; I have developed a way of preparing pureed foods so the taste is not altered. Now I can eat what I fix the family. Maybe someday I can have a Burger, fries, and a milkshake together. |
