Prompt: We all have that certain relative, friend, neighbor, co-worker who can make us laugh all the time. Write a blog entry about that person. Make us laugh! Humor is hard to define. I like puns, slapstick, word games, funny pictures. My husband not so much. What I find hilarious he will not have a clue as to what is amusing. I had a friend back in Ohio when I did community theater that reminded me of John Belushi. Hilarious guy. He could do improv on stage that was so much fun. The thing is, you couldn't look at the man when you acted with him. If you did, you immediately burst into uncontrollable laughter. He was that funny. I like to make people laugh and smile. I like to have fun with language. Sometimes it works, but sometimes it falls flat. I don't fancy myself as a comedienne or any such thing. I just like to play around with words.    |
