 Take UP Your Cross Prompt What is a book that has greatly impacted your faith? Answer: The Powere of a Praying Woman by Stormy Omartian is a book other than the Bible that has impacted my faith journey. I love this author’s books on prayer. She has more than one.  -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------  PROMPT July 15th There have been many influencers on you as you have aged. Tonght, write about the person who has had the greatest impact on your life. I guess the biggest influence in my life outside of my natural family has been my best friend. She is the one person who knows me better than anyone and I would trust her with my money and my life. She has never given me a reason to not trust her and plenty of reasons to trust her. She knows my deepest darkest secrets, and I know hers. We have been through a lot together. We live as roommates in the same apartment. We have been there for each other through thick and thin. I’d say she is closer than a sister to me. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Observations: Verse 27- If you forsake evil and obey God, you can have eternal life. Verse 28- The Lord loves good judgment and does not forsake those who follow him. The wicked will not be preserved. Verse 29- The righteous will dwell safely in their land forever. Verse 30- The righteous speak good things. Verse 31- The law of God is known well and because of that he will make good choices. Application: Live to follow the way of righteousness and have eternal life and every good blessing. Prayer: Dear God, Help me to keep your law in my heart and to walk in your ways. I am not sure we want some people’s opinions. Lol I believe the way God made it originally, it was good. Then Satan and men’s sin came along and corrupted it. Obviously, it isn't a perfect world now. In God's timing, it will be restored to perfection when Christ reigns the earth. Write about Greek Mythology. I know it is full of myths and false gods, and it is a subject I don't exactly care to much for. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------  It's mid July and we're approaching back to school, summer's end or winter's end in some parts of the world and other simple changes like shorter days or cooler weather or in some cases warm weather. What appeals to you the most with the changes? I love the changing leaves colors in the fall along with the cooler but not cold temperatures. Autumn is my favorite season. Since we must change, I like the changes in the scenery and surroundings. This way it is not just a same old boring view. It always changes over time.
