Welcome to my blog: I intend to share heartfelt writing about anything that comes to mind. |
Take UP Your Cross Prompt: Like 3:4-6 4 As it is written in the book of the words of Esaias the prophet, saying, The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight. 5 Every valley shall be filled, and every mountain and hill shall be brought low; and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough ways shall be made smooth; 6 And all flesh shall see the salvation of God. Write about how God has made your paths strait. Answer: I think this happens for most people as they turn the control of their life over to God. Some change is more gradual than others. I have learned that it is getting into the Word of God and staying in it that creates the change. It was not until I started reading my Bible regularly that true change began to happen in my own life. The Bible itself talks about the washing of water by the Word of God. Ephesians 5:23-29 23For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body. 24Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing. 25Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; 26That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, 27That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. 28So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself. 29For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church

April topics: Easter, Humor, and Poetry. Humor me! 🤪 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ This is the link to the group I do these Scripture writings with on Facebook if anyone else is interested in doing so also. https://www.facebook.com/groups/dailyscripturewritingplan/?ref=share Scripture writing - Genesis 18:1-5 Scripture: 18 And the Lord appeared unto him in the plains of Mamre: and he sat in the tent door in the heat of the day; 2 And he lift up his eyes and looked, and, lo, three men stood by him: and when he saw them, he ran to meet them from the tent door, and bowed himself toward the ground, 3 And said, My Lord, if now I have found favour in thy sight, pass not away, I pray thee, from thy servant: 4 Let a little water, I pray you, be fetched, and wash your feet, and rest yourselves under the tree: 5 And I will fetch a morsel of bread, and comfort ye your hearts; after that ye shall pass on: for therefore are ye come to your servant. And they said, So do, as thou hast said. Observations: This is when Abraham showed hospitality to the Angel of the Lord who appeared as a stranger. Abraham had asked God to spare Sodom and Gomorrah if so many good people were found in them. Unfortunately, this was not the case. Application: I do see where Abraham tried to care for their physical needs as well as mental and emotional. He told them to stay and comfort their hearts. Prayer: God, Thank you for the good things you have given us. Help me to remember that you bless me so I can bless others. Forgive me for when I have been selfish. Help me to remember to attend to the needs of others also. There is a ton of information to be found there. I find it relaxing. I like browsing the shelves finding the books I would like to read. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Hello crew We warped across the galactic plane to the outer rim today and then back toward the center. Midway, somewhere in the Delta quadrant, we came across a very beautiful star with multiple planets. The star was Serena Blade (31) . We made a quick stop at an M-Class planet. It was
. The author talks about feeling lost. Have you ever felt lost and hopeless? What happened? Yes, I have felt that way when I was younger. I have already talked about it in a previous blog. It was a time when I felt suicidal. When I was a teen, there were a few times I would huff white out, finger ale polish, markers, and anything I could get my hands on just to numb the pain I felt inside. I would pray. I didn't want to die, but I didn't want to continue living life the way it was. My dad was a preacher but he was abusive verbally and physically. My mom was an enabler. My teen years were not the best years of my life. They were some of my worst. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Could you ever live at the beach, or do you feel it's a place to visit? Why? I would not mind living near the Pacific Ocean. You hear more about Hurricanes on the Atlantic coast. I think watching the waves go out with the tide and come back in can be relaxing. I like watching seagulls fly around too. I think it's awesome to watch the boat go in and out of port also.
