The Spider's Web is Magic
The spider knits its glistening web
steadfastly in the velvet dark
until nighttime starts to ebb

Made of silk and magic
the spider sometimes eats its creation
but it's not so tragic

A web is often built anew
the spider can reweave
for this is what they happily do

Making its edible shelter and art
a place for its babies and food
until it takes the sparkling net apart.
