A poem about a rose.
The last summer rose,
standing in the ground.

The last summer rose,
waiting to be found.

The last summer rose,
collecting droplets from the dew.

The last summer rose,
watching birds as they flew.

The last summer rose,
just about to die.

The last summer rose,
so lonely it might cry.

The last summer rose,
picked from the soil.

The last summer rose,
so happy, it feels royal.
