About trying to rekindle a broken relationship
Come and sit I haven’t seen you in awhile
Little greetings we exchange as I offer a drink
It seems every-time we speak it is so hostile
Carefully judging my choice of words as I think
I would really like to become friends with you
I don’t understand how we came to this
We used to be so close stuck together like glue
It’s the old times and laughs that I truly miss
We talk about our lives and how we have been
It shows just how much time we have lost
This brings sadness it’s such a sin
I will make this work at any cost
I must because I miss you so
That’s because your the only mom I know
