This is about myself, a bit of dream creation out of love.
Someone with a tarnished halo,
One who has seen much plight.
Tried to do his very best,
Reaching out with his light.

Trying to simply light the way.
Hoping to keep the devil at bay.
Through love.
Trying to give freely from his heart.
Encasing humanity within his art.
With love.

Trying to keep extinction at bay.
In order for us to unite someday.
Through forgiveness.
So, he gave his life away,
For others to have their dreams today.
With understanding.

Someone with a tarnished halo,
One who has seen much plight.
Tried to do his very best,
Reaching out with his light.

Trying to address the wounds of old,
Hoping his life would bloom and unfold.
Through love.
Quietly he gave out his dreams in life,
All the while dreaming of holding a wife.
With love.

Trying to bring fairness to all,
Sadly, he had his service fail.
From fear.
So, he humbly continues in life.
Dreaming his dreams by defeating strife.
With art.

Someone with a tarnished halo,
One who has seen much plight.
Tried to do his very best,
Reaching out with his light.

As he worked hard at the loom,
A groom of dreams, his heart did swoon.
With sadness.
As he created a living tapestry,
For the sake of love and humanity.
With gladness.

As he worked without taking a thing,
He quietly dreamed of an alternate reality.
With hope.
As he continued to cut the strings,
Heaven knows he took almost nothing.
With love.

Someone with a tarnished halo,
One who has seen much plight.
Tried to do his very best,
Reaching out with his light.
