Seeing problems and things teenagers think about.
When you’re a teen
Your parents think they know the life you lead.
Whether your choice is good or bad
And when you’re happy or sad.
They have no idea about the secret life you keep.

When you’re home
It seems like the worst place to be.
Arguing and fighting
There seems to be no point in living,
But you couldn’t imagine dying.

When you’re a teen
Peer pressure will be in your daily routine.
Things you want to do,
But you know the consequences are too long,
So you have to try to be strong.

When you’re alone
You’ll probably think of the future:
When you’re grown and off on your own;
About what you’ll want you’re teen to know.
But then you think again, you’re not that old.
