Sometimes things happen and you don't realize what your missing until it's gone.
Do you ever wonder how it would be if no one was there,
If everyone had disappeared and they were gone for good?
Someone shot them,
Then they died,
You’re best friend is gone,
So you cry and wish it were just a lie.
Tears of joy and tears of sadness,
The ones where we cry then we ask why,
But there is no answer for this dreadful word “die”.
Just think,
It’s sad when you lose someone,
But we never think about the good things they had done.
What would scare me the most,
Was if you were all alone,
With no one you knew or no place to call home.
You hear about other people all alone,
And you’re glad you’re not one of them without a home.
Then you thank God,
And you’re very grateful for the bed in which you’re laying.
Maybe you’ve thought about the word “tomorrow”,
Or maybe you haven’t,
It can make you excited and it can be very dreadful,
But just to think it may never come.
As you grow old nothing seems to slow,
Everything just speeds up and then like that it’s gone.
You pray you never have to grieve over the cold headstone,
In the graveyard near your home.
Now your so sad and oh so lonely that it makes you cry,
But you’re still asking why.
Maybe it was your best friend or your kid brother,
But promise me you’ll just remember,
Tomorrow may never come,
So treat everyone equal.
