A last sediment to my love who reminds me of a flower.
Take heed when handling the delicate rose,
It's wonders are what no one knows.
Its fragrant beauty hides its thorns,
But vibrant colors hardly warn.
The dangers of such a powerful seed,
Would fool a man or two indeed.
The lovely smell would fill the air,
And predators are unaware.
What does this flower's beauty hide?
Much more beauty tucked inside.
I'd pick that flower every time,
To ignore such beauty is but a crime.
Take care, my dear and lovely rose,
For deep inside, your beauty grows.
Your inner beauty is a wonderful thing,
God bless the rose, what joy it brings.
