It's a poem about betrayal
Deserted

Lying on the desert
of cool
cotton sheets
twisting in the fibrous
emotions
and hellish expanse
thoughts
cocky strut stroll
a convention of taunts
tightening the lazy
hangmans hand
until
breath and death of
self entwine
laying bare the rib of Adam
still thick with the flesh
of Eve's original sin
and the wet
of regret bleeds dry,
as the heart
you feast from pulls close
to the aching alone
loneliness
of a desert of cool
cotton sheets,
You
left for me to endure.
