For my nephew, after we buried his mom 12-8-04.
You’re so precious ~
And so very loved.
I know she’s watching ~
With God up above.

She didn’t want to leave you,
But she just had to go.
Hoping the memories left behind,
Would somehow help you grow.

She loved you babe ~
With all her heart.
She’s giving you ~
A brand new start.

Your mother’s love ~
Was solid gold.
I know you hoped,
That she’d grow old.

She did not want ~
To leave, you know.
But it was her time,
She had to go.

I love you Dale,
Aunt Gina

Written for my nephew, the night we laid his mother to rest.

God rest your soul, you precious woman. Hearts have broken. Tears are still falling. You were a gift, a true blessing. I'm glad you were my sister, I’m glad you were part of my life.

Rest now. Know that we love and miss you!
