This is a poem about my class and leaving Middle School.
Can't believe it's over,
Can't believe it's done,
Can't believe High School
has almost just begun.

Can't believe we're leaving
our home for the past three years.
Can't believe we're moving on
to face upcoming fears.

Can't believe we're leaving
those sixth grade teachers behind,
who welcomed us to this new world,
who were strict, patient and kind.

Can't believe hair length
won't matter after 7th.
Can't believe Smartboards
will be common in 11th.

Can't believe we're escaping
from Mr. Huffet's war.
Can't believe we can't say
"Eighth grade privilege anymore".

Can't believe we're bidding
Mr. A. a fond farewell;
can't believe we actually thought
he made life living hell.

Can't believe we're going to be
the youngest yet again.
Can't believe we're going to start
the beginning of the end.

Don't forget us,
you know we're fine
because we're the class
of 2009.
