About the pain of depression and hopelessness.
Are you down in your soul?
Empty, your joy stole-n?
Gutted you stand there,
In your hole.

Take the pill?
Will it instill the peace you crave?
Or deprave you, strip you
Of your will, enslave you?
Still,
You know of no end and
Trying to fix it is
Only driving you round the bend.
It seems as though you
Face these lines time after time,
And no amount of wishing can
Take away the feeling you
Always make the same mistakes.

You've not got it licked yet.

Down in your soul.
Down, on your sole.
Down on your own,
While on the surface sweet
The pain of hopelessness known.

The faces you know are
Not known on this territory.
This, a desolate landscape of
Wanderings and woe.
