The effects of depression if help is not found.
She hurts inside
Her pain is strong
Her spirit grows weak
She feels she can't go on
Her heart is empty
She's all alone
She yearns for death
She can't go on
She walks through life
With her head hung low
She keeps to herself
She exists alone
She cries alone
She'll die alone
Her life is empty
Her life is bleak
Her cold salty tears flow like rivers
Down her crimson cheeks
Life will always be hard
For someone like her
Her spirit is gentle
Her soul is pure
She exists alone
She cries alone
She'll die alone
She feels she tried her hardest
To get through each day
But everyone tried harder
To get in her way
She gave it all she had
She tried her best
Then she thought "What’s the point?"
"I might as well be dead."
So she took the knife
And sharpened the blade
So it was ready for use
Ready to take away the pain
With one swift movement
She ended her life in shame
All her sorrow and suffering
Flowed out her exposed veins
Her torment is over now
But so is her chance to be free
She could've done anything
But this she did not perceive
She existed alone
She cried alone
She died alone
