The prayer of a Dreamer
Lift me up to my dreams, oh Lord
Let me behold Your wisdom with eyes wide open
Tell me the costs in life I can't afford

Shine a light on my path along the way
Show me people I can take along with me
Guide my dreams, oh Lord, if You may

Guide my words, oh Lord, that I may glorify You
Tell me the sweet words to enrich other souls
Let me be a lamp lighter in all I do

Let my dreams grow as big as the heavenly skies
The world will scream at me that I can't make it
But that condemnation is but a whisper of lies

You are my Redeemer, oh Lord
I won't be denied by rantings of fools
I hold Your word at my side: my Sword
