What ever happened to that day?
Yeah!That one!
When you told me your love
Would never go astray?

You said to me over and over
That you had won
That you had touched a four-leaf clover

You kissed my lips so tenderly
Now you are acting like
Our love wasn't meant to be

Were you in disguise?
Lying to me…
Making me believe you were my prize?

What went wrong?
Didn’t I love you right?
Or did I play the wrong love song?

Say it is not so
I gave you all of me
Our love was supposed to grow

When I was done with your games
And you asked to come back…
You shouldn’t have tripped
When I started calling you names!
