an account of an unquenched thirst for real love
Dear Lover
By Sugaree

Dear Lover

DEAR Lover,
EACH day for your existence I pray.
ANOTHER day has approached and yet my love still lingers, encroached.
RELISHING thoughts of how it can be, both you and I listening to Teena Marie

LOVING you will be my essence, till our dying days of convalescence
OVER and over again, I wait for you, then the tears fall like rain
VALENTINE images of your eyes gazing into mine, knowing in your arms, I will be fine
EACH time I close my eyes, and you’re not here, another piece of my soul cries
REALITY undisguised, never may I see you, since love has been my demise.
