Here one day, and gone the next- PLEASE RATE IT!
I remember you watched me walk away,
knowing I'd return one day.
I didn't even look back to say goodbye,
and now all I ask myself is "Why?"

As I laughed with those I love,
you moved away to up above.
I did not know, for nobody told,
that now you lay so still and cold.

When I returned back home for you,
something inside of me just knew.
My heart seemed to fill with pain.
I would never get to see you again.

And now many questions fill my mind,
as I look at the things you left behind.
Did you think I didn't care?
That wasn't why I left you there.

Were you sick, hurt or in pain?
And for this do you give me blame?
Do you know my feelings for you?
Although you've gone they remain true.

And now I look towards 'your place,'
imagine you with a smile on your face.
We had many good times together,
and those are the things which live forever.
