The Unheard

In my room at 4 in the morning
I awoke to a crash
Loud and disturbing

The screaming and the yelling
Went echoing through the walls
I tried to rid my ears of the pandemonium
But in the end it was still there

The thumps and bumps
Came crashing in like an unwanted storm
That didn't cease to end
Til' half past six

I opened my mouth
To let out a blood curdling scream
To stop the yelling and thumping
But to my amazement
It just didn't cease
In contrary it only got worse

The sound of glass smashing
Wood went crashing
Cries for help roam through my mind
Tears ebbing from my eyes
My pleas to stop the friction
Went Unheard
