poem about love
Lips warm and tranquil rise to find my mouth
with one sweet kiss you sweep away my fears.

Bare bent bodies entwined in deep embrace
longingly searching for the key
to that age old mystery called love.

This moment seems all to brief
as you enter this opening portal
to be momentarily lost in time
in this our warm, wet, pungent
exhausting, tranquil space.

Each touch excites me and like the power of the sea
you send wave upon wave through me,
through this body to my soul.

My emotions are like a kaleidoscope
ever changing - drowsy, heady, sleepy,
exhilarated, exhausted.

My spent body falls back on to your chest
listening to your heartbeat
and like a child seeking succour - I fall asleep
to it's rhythmns.
