Writer's Cramp. What if summer turned to spring?
What if?
What if I could go back?
My skin would glow like spring-green leaves.
My joints would be supple like fresh maple shoots.
My hair would glisten like dew on sweet grass.
My eyes would be clear like the unfrozen river.

What if?
What if I lost all the wisdom I’ve gathered?
What if I missed the story of my self?
What if I liked myself less than I do?
What if I continued to care about the Jones'?

What if
The seasons of my life turned about?
No, I think I’d rather
Progress into summer
Than regress into spring.
