The pain of not being together but...
Oh please tell me this isn't love again,
because I fear the pain that comes with it.
The thought of you with someone else is pain
and I won't deny it.
But boy, you are divine,
and it seems like you can't be mine
That's okay with me, as long as you smile.

When I look into your eyes, I wonder what dreams you have.
When you laugh at my jokes, my heart is in your hands.
I am still holding on to our memories so tight
my world is shattered and you are the white knight
I am yearning for that reverie love of mine

I saw you looking at her
And I wished it was something I could turn a blind eye
I always catch the glances you steal
I know I was never deserving of that love
but I knew it wasn't always her
You have felt it before
the happiness of us laughing
it never felt that you abhorred

I am crying miserably, thinking about the nights spent dreaming about you.
I hope it's true that there's a world where it's me and you
I know you can't be mine, but I know
It could be us in another lifetime.
though I still wish that,
I am always the one who makes you smile.
