Partial first chapter.
I am trembling for I have sprinted the last mile of my five mile run. I should not have sprinted that distance because my legs feel like they are

jello. I am slowly climbing the stairs to the front door and I am entering the house quietly because it is only a little before seven in the morning. I

enter and am closing the door when movement catches the corner of my eye. I turn slightly and both my brothers are standing in front of the

couch. Kendall, the oldest, I do not wonder what is going on because we have a close bond for siblings. Yet Adam on the other hand is nothing

but trouble, we are not close at all, and I am curious on why he is here in the living room waiting for me. I finish locking the door, turn to fully

face my brothers, and I fold my arms across my chest.

I ask, "What's happening?"

Kendall says, "I have a huge favor to ask you."

Adam states, "Jae is not gonna go for this Kendall. I wouldn't waste my time or breath."

I say, "Anyhow what is it you want to ask me?"
