Eight line poem
Swampland; dank, dark, deep, mysterious,
Teeming with insects and creatures amphibious.
Creepy, silent, heavy with dreariness,
Dangerous and undeniably precarious.

Keep an eye out for things that slither,
Dripping trees, and vines that wither.
What may seem solid will suck you down,
Into the soggy, smelly ground.

Prompt. Write a swampy poem.
