Its midnight and I'm sitting outside under a bridge on a dirty muddy slope I can see the bright city of New York from here. I'm looking down at the water moving downstream the water looks like black tar in the midnight hour. I never thought my life would become so scary. Dealing with events I didn't expect to come. Marrying him was a mistake I thought my life was great until he changed.


Chapter 1
I graduated from college a few weeks ago and got my first job as a business woman. My job required me to move so I found an apartment in New York City. I was day time I was walking down the street to go my new apartment carrying my latte from Starbucks with my rolling bag in the other hand. Today was my move in day. I open the door to my apartment it was a small and petite place every room was small and narrow. My apartment gave off an eerie aura especially to the right where the kitchen was. I walked outside. Walked to the Starbucks to get a lemon loaf and another Latte. I sat down at the outside tent eating area and watch people walk by it was a hot afternoon time I had a feeling that New York was going to change my life in a drastic way
