A learned lesson, improvement of self, free verse
I’ll love you, near or far
I’ll love you, dead or alive
I’ll love you, worm or not
I’ll love you, mine or not
Love is forever, patient, endless,
forgiving

Love begets grief
An inevitable scene
But loss is nothing
Compared to a life with no love
Pity to those who care for naught but stuff.

I know now, that I can live with loss
A day of love shines light on an entire life
Worth it?
I answer, with a Cross,
“I'll love now as a man should love,
Love to all and me
Fully, Selflessly”

O, I’m made to fall and see
The sin in me, in light
Still, Love gives me life
For me, to be me more
To dance as all of me
Before any romantic dancing
Myself is all I’ll need
Dancing and love, it's just sharing

"How can one dance with another if they know not of their own tune?"

Working out for my growth
Reading not just for show
Sleeping for recovery's most
Smiling to defy death's post
All for a world in which
I am who I am
She is she, and I a fan
To be myself is all I'll ever need
and for all my joy and her joy to be seen

I know now, I went about love all wrong
To love is to love, commit to understanding, fully and selflessly
Love without expecting anything back
A love pure and holy, Beautiful and lovely

I’ll love you forever, gone or not
And my love is how I'll truly let you go
