A Sonnet for the King of the Dinosaurs.
I met a Traveller who said to me, walking through a museum of relics and other oddity’s, these bones of long dead things.

and in their center of this display a large skeletal figure stands towering above all.

It’s size intimidating to all that see.

It’s head held high as its teeth still bare all to see.

Jaws that could swallow you whole.

The flesh that once owned this mighty Lizard long decayed away.

It’s bones now rock and fossil.

Held up high by rods and wires.

And on the pedestal at its base these words are written.

“My name is Tyrant Lizard King, King of the dinosaurs, look upon me lowly humans for I am still here”
