An infinite debt is owed - a rhyming poem.
Inflation so high, our rivers run dry;
A debt paid to Jesus, may the Happy Lord please us.
The violence toward girls, as debate volume swirls;
Homeless and aching, our veterans shaking.

The rumors fill holes for these substantive goals.
An incorrect side during each homicide…
Drug overdose makes the streets comatose -
Human existence drives little resistance.

A fumbling bureaucracy confronts the democracy.
We voice all these crimes during dolorous times…
The big corporations’ huge expectations;
The greatest of medicines - the brightest bulb’s Edisons.

Our Savior, Our Friend, may we pray till the end.
Grief so spontaneous, it’s now instantaneous…
His judgment so pure - in gifts, we endure -
My friend, must we strive, in each moment, let’s thrive.

His judgment will come, for the victims are glum.
His people debate, as He hands down their fate.
Our goals in these rifts, ‘cause Jesus, He lifts…
A message of hope, so forever we cope…
