True Loves First Kiss
THE MOMENT

You are the pinnacle in your life and so you tell yourself a lie,
Only a quarter of the beauty you see with one little eye.
In a universe so grand and all too often unobserved,
So completely lost on you how that kiss was just served.
With the heat of passion and a warm embrace,
Blinded by confusion in your lonely little place.
A whole world around you family, friends and all.
Truth be told, I don't understand it at all.
You open your other eye without reason or doubt,
Soon you will be ready to learn what love is all about.
Mere inches away you notice what you've missed,
This gorgeous person who just served you that kiss.
Now you have two eyes open, but only half can you see,
Where you are, where you've been, and where you should be.
In the presence of greatness and so truly divine,
This is the place you are, and no its not fine.
For where you have been is quite alarming,
As you realize all this time who you've been harming.
Through their eyes the other half they perceive,
That they are pleased with you is what you believe.
They know in darkness you fell, yet they can only ask,
That you believe once more in Loves first task.
The joining of eight is the charge I speak of,
Can only be accomplished by the kiss of True Love.
From Heart to Mind and through the Body and Soul,
This is the source of stories from the days of ole.
The joining of body and mind with another you seek,
No heart and no soul is like having a boat with a leak.
The joining of eight is what we need and not just four,
Take this time to reflect, on a promise you made once more.
To cherish and support through the good and the bad,
To love and to honor whether we are happy or mad.
Through sickness and in health till death do us part,
To honor thy vows is the only way to join the heart.
For the last to join in is when two halves become whole,
For only true patience and virtue can ensnare the soul.
It's all the modest things that we miss more often than not,
As what we should use to secure the glorious Eight knot.
The Heart, Mind, Body and Soul a set from you two,
Once entangled together projects a new view.
A depiction of love so ostentatious and grand,
You couldn't stay standing with no helping hand.
Once the joining is complete for there's nothing you'll miss,
While in that beautiful and euphoric moment of bliss.
Forever in that moment each and every one dreams,
Even to think about leaving rips us apart at the seams.
It's easy I tell you my heart speaks with precision
As for my own Eight Knot I've completed my mission.
