A poem against war and to remember civilian casualties in the wake of news out of Gaza.
A world away war is waged endlessly
There aren't enough bombs to stop the anger

There isn't enough balm to stop the pain
Memories of peace can only go so far

Memories in pieces don't show that far
Children don't know how to accept what happens

Children aren't excepted from what happens
Mothers weep for what should have been an heir

Mothers weep as strikes come from the air
There aren't enough flowers for all the graves

There isn't enough flour for all the mouths
Blood spills endlessly from so many veins

Blood spills endlessly from victims in vain
A world away war is waged endlessly

Note: the poem is written using the Duplex form and with an emphasis on homophones.
