Don't miss the nine-to-five at all.
I’ve been retired for some time
and mostly it’s been great.
Don’t miss the nine-to-five at all.
No, I love sleeping late.

And weekends don’t mean anything.
It’s all the same to me.
In fact, I can declare to you,
I’m happy as can be.

I never wear a suit, of course,
don’t need to own a tie.
My jeans and t-shirts go just fine.
I am a simple guy.

The biggest stress I have these days
is how to beat my wife.
I’m talking who gets WORDLE first.
That’s how I spend my life.

Well, there just might be one more thing
I think about each day,
a nagging feeling that I have
and will not go away.

You might think that the trouble is
that I have too much time.
But I can tell you honestly
that feeling is sublime.

No, that is not what worries me
and keeps me up at night.
Just think about what I have said
and you might see the light.

The only job that I have now
is having lots of fun.
The biggest problem that I have
is knowing when I’m done.
