A poem, I prefer not to share anymore
Light came through my sheer curtains
Spattering itself across the wall in ugly arrangements
To the detriment of the paisley wallpaper

Stains from the party come to the surface in this condition
As well as bodies full of pleasure and slumber

Wrapping myself in velvet comforts and vague figures
Feels good for now

The intimacy aggression left me thin and fragile,
I couldn’t afford another like him

So my lines never cross
Remaining parallel and distant
As I mend the missing parts of me
