A 100-word conversation between mother and son.
“Where have you been?”

“Out.”

“Out where?

“Out there.”

“Don't get smart with me, young man. You do know who you remind me of, don't you?"

"Who?"

Me, eighteen years ago.”

“That's a good thing, right? It kind of proves that I'm your legitimate son.”

“Don't bet on it, mister. And really. Just where have you been? You were supposed to be home an hour ago. Your dinner was getting cold, so I gave it to the dog.”

“Did he like it?”

“Probably a lot more than you're going to like the dog food I set out for your dinner.”
