Is it bad that I can't picture his face?
Eyeliner smudges are easy to fix.
But a tear-stained t-shirt
tells the story for her

The bouquet of flowers in her arms
Was meant for the coffin in her backyard.

Eyeliner smudges are easy to fix.
Tear-stains dry up.
Forgive me, I don't remember anymore.
