A poem about how I wish I could just snuggle in my mom's arms again.
I remember all the pain in my soul
The noise from my mind streamed down my face
Never wanted to be alone
My heart turned so cold.

I hear your voice
It sings a lullaby
Your arms reach out with a warm embrace
No need to worry now my dear
You will be safe and sound in my arms tonight

Just close your eyes
No one can hurt you now
I will be here with you all night
Rub your head and sing you to sleep
Sweet dreams my dear
You are forever safe and sound

All you fears will melt away
Sweet kisses on your face
Don't cry I may be gone tomorrow
But tonight you are safe and sound
Lay in my arms my daughter
For Mother is all around

Don't wake up just stay right here
You will be all right
Sleep through until the morning light
Snuggle with Mommy and you will be just fine
In my arms you will always be safe and sound

Just like the first day we met
My arms cradled you close
To all the times you felt scared and of so alone
My arms held you close until the day I passed
Next to me you will remain safe and sound until you breathe your last.
