The regrets of a prisoner who is sentenced to death.
Who will remember me, when I breathe my last?

At the time of my death another will be born.

Will they be a better person than I?

When they die will they be missed more?

I curse this envy and regret for taking a hold on my mind.

Regret for not living a better life, envy for those who have.

At the time of judgment, where will I be sent? Led by the devil.

If I repent will my fate be changed?

A second chance had never before occurred to me.

I thought in a prison I would forever remain.

But I get down on both knees,

and ask God to forgive this shameful sinner.
