bird and a nest of babies singing
Lil' Bird, lil' bird, Lil' Birdie,
Where is your tree with your babies?
You hide them secretly, away from prey & me.
All year you prepared the young their bed.
Hour by hour, day in & day out........you flip'd
those wings about.

Searching city streets for leftover eats.
Finding the tastiest morsels for the best nest
of a bird's family and their guests.

Lil' Bird, Miss Bird, Oh Birdie.
What time will you sing?
I live for your tree concerts during the midnight
hour, wee dark mornings & quick flashes of
chirps, tweeks and rappin' melodies.
Wow, oh how do I love to hear sweet songs
coming from my birdie in her tree.
Priceless to me!
