About lost love
In pitch darkness she was standing
Her broken soul she was mending
With her eyes damp
She was looking for a lamp
To find her way out
Of darkness existing all about
He came like the moon in night
And brought to her world light
He taught her how to dance in the rain
He taught her how to let go of pain
She blossomed in his love
But she was a caged dove
Bound by the rules of society
To live her life with propriety
She had to let go of her moon
And look for a lamp soon
But once used to the moonlight
She couldn't accept a lamp try hard she might
Thus her search for a lamp failed
And in her world the blackness prevailed.
