A love story.
A single tear

Glides down my cheek,

Warning me

I am about to weep.

We used to dance

Just me and him,

And I felt like

I had something to win.

And then He fell

And took me down too,

After he fell

Every day he had something to do.

One night

When I got home

He was there,

But she was there too.

I feel a single tear

Come to my eye

I turned around

And let out a wolfs cry.

You had hidden it from me

You didn’t care.

I thought you were all mine

But you were willing to share.

And all the moments we had

Were just perfect.

But I saw her,

And I finally saw you under the surface.

A single tear

Glides down my cheek,

But I swallow it down

And I don’t weep
