I know not to speak

I know to be quiet

I know someday I will scream.

I know that this is now my home

But I know this is not my land.

My birthplace will never be here

For I know it is not Vietnam.

This is not my place to stay

So,

I know not to speak

I know to be quiet

I know someday I will scream.
