Theory of how people are their own wheel chocks of progress.
Weakness guiding the path
Preventing things to go a certain way
Future hopes and dreams is what suffers the wrath
Allowing proper action not to be taken
Something deep inside holding back
Trying to stay on a past laid out track
Needing of the instance of the internal to be awaken
Leading out all of the needed emotional slack
Only to be retrieved behind a cautious closed drawn curtain
Living the world of being uncertain
Sitting in a past made shadow
The usual feeling of self-pitied sorrow
Same as it will be tomorrow
Suffering a life of frustration and regret
As others flourish not letting you forget
Showing loudly of fake admiration
Feeling low for the events that will be self-inflicted
Seeking retribution while hoping for satisfaction
To no avail ending again with the covering of a self-inflicted veil
Hiding the fact of possible but not quite success
But always screaming loudly on a caricature like drawn face
