Something I wrote for my grandfathers funeral.
The people line up in two by two,
All fading into black,
To look upon a peaceful you,
Whom the angels wanted back.
But mourn us not, our sudden loss,
As it must be for the best.
Allow us all to lay you down,
At last, your soul at rest.
