theres a beast within us all we need to restrain for some its conscience for some its not
Look into my eyes and what do you see?
Mirrors of my soul the beast within me.
How do I subdue,. how do I quell?
This enemy of mine I know so well.

Without nightmares and with no dreams
I feel no release, inside me only screams
Silent but deadly you know the ones.
The silent screams of the forgotten son.

The son of my father, I am, although he's gone.
I have his name and with it I shall carry on!
With fighting in the streets of this toxic world,
pain cuts deep let my rage unfurl.
Then I come down and remain calm,
does no good to hate everyone.
But then again, I can hate real bad.
Why couldn't it have been mom instead of dad?

Look into my eyes and what do you see?
Mirrors of my soul, the beast within me.
How do I subdue, how do I quell?
This enemy of mine I know so well.

Now, with my subdued state of mind,
same ol' world, but I 'l keep on trying.
I can love real good too, if I want.
But, for now., just pass me that blunt.
The torments of my life are so boldly declared,
in the lyrics of the songs I so openly share.
Growing pains can go away with in a song.
Right words said can make you feel strong.

Ordered by Dr. Feel good for my attacks,
Kush and music, and no one gets whacked!

Cause

Look into my eyes and what do you see?
Mirrors of my soul, the beast within me!
How do I subdue, how do I quell?
This enemy of mine I know so well.
